We use a number of carriers to get your goods to you, with the main carriers used being Fastway Couriers, Star Track Express & Australia Post. We always try to use the carrier that offers the quickest, most reliable service for the goods being carried, and the area being delivered to. If you would like to request us to use a specific carrier, please contact us when ordering.

Our couriers deliver all over Australia however some more remote area’s are covered using Australia Post or Australia Post Contractors. These area’s are known as ‘On-Forwarding Areas’. If you are in an ‘On-Forwarding Area’, your parcel will go to the nearest courier depo within their network and then be passed onto Australia Post for the final leg of the journey. Australia Post have much more strict guidelines to parcel sizes than some couriers, and parcels over 1.2m in most areas will not be carried by Australia Post. If you live in an ‘On-Forwarding area’ and plan to purchase an item that will be longer than 1.2m, please contact us to discuss freight options so we can arrange to get your parcel to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Please note that under no circumstances does Fishing Online Australia give our couriers Authority To Leave (ATL) for parcels. If a parcel is being shipped to a residential or business address and does not fit inside a standard mail box (for Aus Post shipments), it must be signed for on delivery. This is a security measure to minimise any risk of your parcel being lost or stolen.
It is advised that you choose a delivery address where someone is available to sign for/take delivery of your parcel.

NOTICE TO ALL MAIL ORDER CUSTOMERS REGARDING WARRANTY RETURNS

Here at Fishing Online Australia, we do everything we can to help our customers with genuine warranty processes. However, for the best chance at getting your warranty approved by the supplier, we need to have the product returned to us in the exact condition as when the fault/damage occurred. Make sure that when you send items back to us for a warranty assessment by the supplier, it is packaged and sent as carefully as you would if it was a brand new product. For items like rods, make sure they are packed with protection inside a solid tube. Heavy cardboard tubes are usually ok but we choose to send all our rods in heavy PVC storm pipe tube which provides the best protection. Avoid using light cardboard tubes like you find in the post shops as they rarely stand up to the punishment of being freighted and under no circumstances, ever send back an item with no packaging at all.

When sending back items remember to make sure the item/s are clean (if they have been used) and send them back protected, in a box so they do not get further damage during transit.
Freight costs both to and from Fishing Online Australia for warranty pruposes is the customers responsibility. Please contact us if you require assistance with freighting your warranty items back to us.

Please also be aware that manufacturer warranties vary from company to company, some items are covered under extended warranty periods up to 10 years but most are covered for a standard period of 1 year. Almost all items have different situations in which they will and won’t be covered under warranty and many things are not covered but instead fall under a ‘wear & tear’ clause or something similar. Try and make yourself familiar with these situations if possible so as not to be disappointed to find that something is not covered at a later date.

If you would like any further information, refer to the warranty cards/info included with most items you purchase or give us a call on (03) 5979 2899.
Fishing Online Australia does not accept unauthorized returns. If you wish to return an item you must contact us first.
